Alembic Pharma Gets USFDA Nod for Valganciclovir

Alembic Pharmaceuticals received final USFDA approval for its ANDA for Valganciclovir for Oral Solution, 50 mg/mL, therapeutically equivalent to Valcyte (CHEPLAPHARM). The drug treats CMV retinitis in AIDS patients and prevents CMV disease in high-risk kidney, heart or kidney-pancreas transplant patients.
