Shree Renuka Sugars Q2 Loss Narrows to Rs 1,632 Mn

Shree Renuka Sugars reported a net loss of Rs 1,632 million for the quarter ended September 2026, narrowing from a loss of Rs 3,188 million in the same quarter last year. Net sales fell 25.56% year-on-year to Rs 17,787 million, down from Rs 23,895 million in September 2025. Despite the drop in revenue, the company’s operating profit margin improved to 442% from -1,173% a year earlier, indicating a significant improvement in operating performance. The lower loss was driven by this margin recovery, even as the top line contracted sharply.
