India is set to scale up its state-of-the-art HVAC-focused R&D centre, leveraging Punjab’s supportive policy framework and incentives aimed at technology development. The company plans to invest ₹500 crore over the state’s incentive policy period, strengthening its capabilities in advanced design, accelerated innovation, and sustainable, energy-efficient solutions for both domestic and global markets. The expanded facility will sharpen Amber’s product pipeline, with a strong focus on Commercial AC solutions and VRV systems, while reinforcing its commitment to evolving customer requirements and next-gen energy efficiency. Amber designs and manufactures complete Room Air Conditioners (RACs)—including Window ACs (WACs) and Split AC components (IDUs and ODUs)—covering capacities from 0.75 ton to 2 ton, across multiple energy ratings and refrigerant types.
