BCPL Railway Infra bags L1 status for ₹7.63 Cr Eastern Railway projects

BCPL Railway Infrastructure has emerged as the Lowest Bidder (L1) for two projects under Eastern Railway worth a combined ₹7.63 crore (including GST), reinforcing its strong positioning in the railway electrification space. The orders come from both the Sealdah and Howrah Divisions, reflecting continued execution momentum in its core operating geography. The first project, valued at ₹2.9 crore, is from the Sealdah Division and involves 25 KV PSI and allied electrical works, including the replacement of overaged capacitor banks at Titagarh/FP and Sonarpur/FP along with associated PSI works. The second project, worth ₹4.73 crore from the Howrah Division, pertains to 25 KV OHE work, specifically the replacement of old Guy Rod Assemblies. For BCPL, which specializes in the design, drawing, supply, erection, and commissioning of 25KV, 50Hz Single Phase Traction Overhead Equipment, these orders align perfectly with its technical expertise. While the order size may be modest, consistent wins in railway electrification and infrastructure upgrades strengthen revenue visibility and execution credibility — especially as Indian Railways continues its modernization push.
