Expands Transformer Capacity 🚀

's Board has approved an additional ₹65 crore capex to expand transformer capacity at its Airoli Works, Navi Mumbai, from 28,000 MVA to 35,000 MVA. This comes on the back of the ₹170 crore investment approved in May 2024, which scaled capacity from 18,000 MVA to 28,000 MVA. 📌 With strong presence in Power Systems (Transformers & Projects) and Industrial Systems (Motors, Drives, Automation, Elevators), the company continues to position itself as a key enabler across power, steel, cement, railways, and infrastructure sectors. 👉 The progressive capex reflects growing demand in the power equipment sector and Bharat Bijlee’s strategy to capture larger market opportunities.
