Indian Energy Exchange Bets Big on Digital Coal Trading

has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Indian Coal Exchange, on June 1, 2026. The new platform will enable online coal trading by connecting buyers and sellers through a transparent and automated exchange-based system. This marks a strategic step by IEX towards expanding beyond power trading and strengthening its presence across India’s evolving energy ecosystem.
