📌 India strengthens global ties & banking power

➤India and Israel have formally signed the Terms of Reference (ToR) to begin negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement, marking a significant step toward stronger bilateral trade, smoother market access, and deeper economic cooperation between the two nations. ➤India–Australia relations continue to scale up across every major pillar, with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighting remarkable progress in trade and investment, defence and security, education and skill partnerships, science & technology exchanges, and joint initiatives in space and clean energy. The biggest strength, he noted, remains the growing people-to-people connection. ➤India’s banking sector is set for a global rise, with RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra indicating that more Indian lenders are likely to feature in the top 100 global banks soon. Strong economic momentum, balance sheet strengthening, and consistent growth in the financial system are driving this confidence.
