Market Psychology in Short Covering (Quick Take):

When price starts rising after a breakdown, short sellers feel pressure. Losses begin mounting. What starts as confidence (“it’ll fall”) turns into anxiety. 🔹 First comes denial 🔹 Then panic 🔹 Then forced buying to exit That forced buying = short covering, which pushes price even higher — creating a squeeze effect. So the rally isn’t always fresh bullish conviction. Sometimes it’s just trapped bears scrambling for the door. Markets move on emotions before they move on logic.
