Marksans Pharma posted Strong Q1 FY27 Performance
$MARKSANS shares reported a sharp improvement in Q1 FY27 profitability, with strong growth across its international formulation businesses. Key Financial Highlights PAT: ₹159 crore, up 174% YoY Operating Revenue: ₹841 crore, up 35.6% YoY EBITDA: ₹213 crore, up 113% YoY Cash Balance: ₹1,058 crore, crossing the ₹1,000 crore mark for the first time. What Drove the Growth? The biggest positive was the company's UK & Europe formulation business, which reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹356 crore, growing 74.7% YoY. New product launches and continued market-share gains supported the performance. The US & North America formulation business, which is the company's largest market, generated ₹377 crore in revenue, up 15.1% YoY. Australia and New Zealand also delivered strong growth, with revenue rising 53.7% to ₹88 crore. The company also completed the acquisition of QliniQ in the Netherlands and ABCnow GmbH in Germany during the quarter. QliniQ contributed ₹44 crore of revenue in Q1, marking the beginning of Marksans' European expansion strategy.
