BAJAJHLDNG
Bajaj Holdings & Investment Ltd. (BAJAJHLDNG) is fundamentally different from a conventional operating company. It is essentially a holding and investment company, with its value primarily linked to its strategic investments in the Bajaj Group. As of June 30, 2026, its major strategic holdings included Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finserv, while the company also has subsidiaries including Bajaj Auto Holdings and Maharashtra Scooters. Fundamental Perspective The most important number for BHIL investors is arguably not its reported quarterly profit but the value of its investment portfolio. As of 30 June 2026, BHIL's investment portfolio had a market value of approximately ₹2,34,401 crore, against a cost of ₹22,025 crore. The company reported an investment NAV of approximately ₹21,062 per share, compared with a book value of around ₹2,425 per share. This highlights the distinctive nature of the stock: a very large portion of its underlying value comes from its holdings in other Bajaj companies. From a SEBI Registered Research Analyst perspective, I would look at BHIL primarily through the lens of: Underlying NAV → market price → discount/premium to NAV → quality and growth of underlying holdings. The underlying businesses also remain important. In Q1 FY27, Bajaj Auto's consolidated PAT increased 46% YoY to ₹3,226 crore, while Bajaj Finserv's consolidated PAT increased 12% to ₹3,132 crore For investors studying this stock, I would track NAV, market price/NAV discount, Bajaj Auto performance, Bajaj Finserv performance, dividend distribution and any changes in the investment portfolio rather than relying only on the quarterly EPS number.

BAJAJFINSV
Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (BAJAJFINSV) is an important financial-services platform with exposure to lending, housing finance, general insurance, life insurance, broking and digital financial services. From a fundamental perspective, the company continues to show healthy underlying business growth, although the stock’s current technical structure remains a key point to watch. Fundamental Perspective FY26 was a strong year for the group. Consolidated total income reached ₹1,50,530 crore, up 13%, while consolidated PAT stood at ₹9,801 crore, up 10%. Bajaj Finance remained the major earnings engine, with AUM reaching approximately ₹5.10 lakh crore, up 22%, and PAT attributable to owners increasing 14% to ₹19,017 crore. One important development is the completion of the acquisition of Allianz SE's 26% stake in Bajaj's two insurance subsidiaries. Technical Perspective Here the picture is more cautious. The stock is currently trading below its major short- and medium-term moving averages. Data available on 17 September shows the 20-day, 50-day and 200-day averages broadly around ₹1,900–₹1,970, leaving the current price below these levels. RSI readings are also in the weak zone, indicating that momentum has deteriorated substantially. From a trading perspective, ₹1,820–₹1,800 becomes an important support zone. A sustained breakdown below this region could increase selling pressure towards ₹1,780. On the upside, ₹1,865–₹1,900 is the first zone that needs to be reclaimed. A sustained move above ₹1,900–₹1,905 could improve the short-term technical structure, while stronger confirmation would come above the higher moving-average cluster around ₹1,940–₹1,970.

Maharashtra Scooters declares ₹160 interim Dividend

MAHSCOOTER
has declared an interim dividend of ₹160 per equity share for the financial year ending March 31, 2027. The company set Monday, September 21, 2026, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders, with the final payout scheduled to be processed on or before October 13, 2026. Maharashtra Scooters functions primarily as an unregistered Core Investment Company under the Bajaj Group umbrella, holding significant stakes in group entities like Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finserv. Its ability to repeatedly declare major interim payouts of ₹160 per share highlights the consistent flow of dividend income from its core strategic assets. This announcement provides a reliable defensive yield signal to long-term shareholders. Maharashtra Scooters' robust ₹160 interim dividend solidifies its position as a highly lucrative defensive play. Investors looking to participate in this cash distribution must ensure their holdings are settled by the record date of September 21, 2026. Bajaj Holdings & Investment (BHIL) is essentially

BAJAJHLDNG
Bajaj Holdings & Investment (BHIL) is essentially a listed investment/holding company rather than a normal operating business. The investment thesis is therefore based mainly on the value of its Bajaj group holdings, dividends received, investment income and the discount/premium to its NAV. 🟢 Key positives As of June 30, 2026, BHIL's strategic equity investments in group companies had a market value of about ₹2.30 lakh crore, against a cost of ₹19,841 crore. Its reported NAV was ₹21,062 per share at June 30, 2026, compared with a book value of ₹2,425/share. This makes the NAV discount one of the most important valuation parameters for the stock. Q1 FY27 consolidated PAT was around ₹2,706–₹2,708 crore. The YoY decline was largely because Q1 FY26 had a large one-off gain from selling Bajaj Finserv shares; excluding that gain, Q1 FY27 profit was actually higher than the comparable period. Dividend remains an important attraction. BHIL paid ₹130/share final dividend for FY26, in addition to the ₹65 interim dividend, and its board is scheduled to consider an FY27 interim dividend on September 15, 2026

“Why Failed Breakouts Matter to Traders”

A breakout can create strong excitement because price moves beyond an important support or resistance level. However, not every breakout develops into a sustained trend. When price quickly returns inside the previous range, it may indicate that the breakout lacked sufficient buying or selling strength. Failed breakouts are important because they can reveal where market participants were trapped. Traders should observe how price behaves after crossing a key level instead of assuming that every breakout will continue in the same direction. The quality of a breakout depends on factors such as momentum, volume, market structure and follow-through. A breakout without continuation may require more caution before entering or holding a position. Learning: A breakout is not confirmed only by crossing a level; sustained price acceptance provides stronger evidence.

Bajaj Finserv remains fundamentally strong

BAJAJFINSV
Bajaj Finserv remains fundamentally strong, with its lending businesses continuing to drive growth. In Q1 FY27, consolidated profit including non-controlling interests rose 18.2% YoY to ₹6,297 crore, while total income increased 19.1% to ₹42,037 crore and NII grew 20% to ₹14,528 crore. The biggest growth engine is Bajaj Finance. Its AUM increased around 24% YoY to ₹5.47 lakh crore, while consolidated PAT rose 27.4% to ₹5,986 crore. Asset quality also improved, with consolidated GNPA at 0.96% and NNPA at 0.39%. Bajaj Housing Finance is another important contributor, giving the group exposure to India's growing housing-credit market. The insurance businesses provide additional diversification, although Bajaj Life Insurance's Q1 PAT fell sharply, mainly because of lower capital gains and the impact of GST; its value of new business nevertheless nearly doubled, with VNB margin improving to 15.9%. A fresh positive development is Bajaj Finance's acquisition of a 5% stake in TrueFan AI, part of Bajaj Finserv's "Finserv Intelligence" initiative. The investment supports the group's strategy of using AI for personalised customer engagement, digital onboarding and dealer support.
