Laser Power wins ₹72.76 crore Powergrid order

Laser Power & Infra Limited

LASERPOWER
has secured a ₹72.76 crore HTLS reconductoring order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. The project covers 164 circuit-km of transmission lines and is scheduled for completion within 12 months. The order is also the company’s first commercial HTLS conductor order. HTLS conductors can increase the power-carrying capacity of existing transmission infrastructure without requiring the same scale of new corridor development. For Laser Power, the order provides an opportunity to establish its presence in this segment. What I’m watching: Project execution, further HTLS orders and the contribution of this order to the company’s order book. Stance: Tracking whether this first commercial HTLS order leads to repeat business. Disclosure: This post is for educational purposes only and is not investment advice or a buy/sell recommendation. Disclose any holding or interest before publishing.
