Thejo Engineering – Downtrend to Reversal Setup (Weekly)

THEJO
1. Structure: Distribution → Downtrend Strong rally in 2023–24 → followed by clear lower high, lower low structure Price consistently trading below declining moving average (purple line) 👉 This confirms primary trend = bearish (so far) 2. Current Development: Early Base Formation Price has started holding near ₹1500–₹1550 zone (strong support) Attempting to break descending trendline 👉 This is the first sign of trend exhaustion, not confirmation of reversal yet 3. Key Technical Trigger The most important level here: Trendline resistance + horizontal zone: ₹1750–₹1800 👉 Only if price: Breaks AND sustains above this zone → Then structure shifts from bearish → neutral/bullish 4. Moving Average Insight Price still below long-term MA (~₹2300) Even after breakout, overhead supply exists 👉 Upside may come in phases, not a straight rally 5. Possible Scenarios Bullish Case (Trigger-Based) Break above ₹1800 Retest holds Then move towards: ₹2000 ₹2200 (major supply) Bearish Case Failure near trendline Break below ₹1500 👉 Then fresh downmove likely 6. Strategy Perspective This is where most traders go wrong: ❌ This is NOT a breakout stock yet ❌ Not suitable for aggressive buying now 👉 Best approach: Wait for confirmation breakout Or accumulate very slowly near support (only for positional investors)

Thejo Engineering Limited (Daily Chart)

THEJO
Downtrend Base Formation – Early Reversal Attempt? CMP: ₹1,712 Primary Trend: Bearish (Long-term) Short-term Structure: Base building 📉 Larger Trend Context Clear characteristics: • Persistent lower highs since ₹2,450 peak • Price below 225 EMA (~₹1,850) • 26 & 52 EMA below 225 EMA • Long-term trend still down This is still technically a counter-trend rally phase. 🧱 Current Structure However, short-term behaviour has improved: ✔ Strong bounce from ₹1,550 support ✔ Multiple higher lows forming ✔ Price consolidating above 26 & 52 EMA ✔ Volatility contraction near ₹1,700 This resembles Stage 1 accumulation. 🔑 Key Barrier: ₹1,850–₹1,900 (225 EMA Zone) That dashed blue 225 EMA is critical. This zone has: • Dynamic resistance • Prior supply • Trend control Break and sustain above ₹1,900 → structural shift possible. Until then → range-bound recovery. 📊 Volume Insight Recent bounce from ₹1,550 came with expansion in volume. But follow-through volume is moderate. Needs breakout volume above ₹1,850 for confirmation. 🎯 Scenarios Bullish Case Daily close above ₹1,900 → Target ₹2,050 → Then ₹2,200 This would mark medium-term reversal attempt. Bearish Case Failure near ₹1,800 Break below ₹1,650 → Retest ₹1,550 → Possibly new lows 🧠 Structure Summary Right now this is: Base → not breakout yet. Early accumulation → not confirmed trend reversal. Aggressive traders: Trade breakout above ₹1,850. Conservative: Wait for weekly close above 225 EMA. 📌 Professional View This is a potential reversal candidate, but not yet a confirmed uptrend. Risk–reward improves only above ₹1,850.

Wave-3 Setup Emerging After Deep Correction in a High-Quality Industrial Compounder

THEJO
Elliott Wave Structure (Primary Degree) The strong rally into mid-2024 marks a completed Wave (1). The sharp and extended decline that followed fits a Wave (2) correction, retracing a large portion of the prior impulse and shaking out weak hands. Price has now formed a base above structural support, and the initial upward thrust signals the early stage of Wave (3). The projected roadmap on the chart outlines a classic 1-2-3-4-5 impulse, with Wave (3) expected to be strong and vertical once momentum expands. 📐 If Wave (3) unfolds as expected, the structure allows for significant upside expansion over the medium to long term, with higher highs following brief consolidations. 2. MACD Structure & Momentum Shift During the late stages of the correction, price made lower lows while MACD failed to do so, indicating bullish momentum divergence. MACD has started turning upward from depressed levels, hinting at trend exhaustion on the downside and early bullish momentum rebuild. This behavior is typical at the end of Wave (2) and before a strong impulsive move. 3. AVWAP as Structural Support Anchoring AVWAP from the previous major high, price found acceptance and stability around it during the basing phase. The recent move back above AVWAP suggests value re-acceptance by long-term participants. As long as price holds above the ₹1,550–1,600 zone, AVWAP acts as a reference support, keeping the bullish structure intact. 4. Fundamental Strength (Long-Term Tailwind) The company demonstrates strong ROCE, indicating efficient capital utilization. Consistent revenue and profit growth across cycles reflect business durability. A niche industrial positioning and execution track record make it a long-term compounder, increasing confidence in higher-timeframe technical setups. Strong fundamentals increase the probability that the next impulse leg is sustained rather than speculative.

Post Market of Indian Stock Market – 29th August, 2025.

The Indian stock market ended lower today. Sensex slipped 270 points to close at 79,809.65. 🔻 Reason? Worries over possible US tariffs on Indian exports, which made foreign investors cautious. Out of 16 sectoral indices, 12 closed in red, showing broad weakness. But consumer-focused stocks managed small gains, supported by hopes of GST Council measures. Top Gainers: ✅ • RBL Bank (+4.07%) – Jumped after Societe Generale bought 32.8 lakh shares, showing big institutional confidence. • Thejo Engineering (+1.01%) – Rose on plans for capacity expansion and tech upgrades. • ITC (+2.21%) – Gained on strong domestic demand, stable FMCG outlook, and dividend support. • Shriram Finance (+1.50%) – Higher credit demand and optimism for NBFCs lifted the stock. • L&T (+1.15%) – Supported by optimism in infra and capital goods projects. Top Losers: 🔻 • Shanthala FMCG (-3.87%) – Thin liquidity and volatility dragged the stock lower. • GSS Infotech (-12.62%) – Fell after reporting losses; weak IT sentiment added pressure. • KCK Industries (-9.15%) – Low investor interest and technical weakness caused sharp fall. • Adani Enterprises (-1.34%) – Profit booking and ongoing Adani group weakness continued. • Apollo Hospitals (-1.53%) – Declined on profit booking after gains; AGM day volatility. In Short: While FIIs stayed cautious, DIIs and select sectors (like FMCG, finance, infra) showed resilience. Market sentiment remains sensitive to global trade news, but domestic strength is keeping some stocks afloat.
