Q4 FY26 Financial Highlights Avenue Supermarts reported a significant jump in its standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ending March 31, 2026. The revenue stood at ₹17,204.50 crore, marking a 19% year-on-year growth compared to ₹14,462.39 crore in the same period last year. This continues a steady upward trajectory from previous years (₹12,393 crore in 2024 and ₹10,337 crore in 2023). Major Milestone: 500 Stores The company officially hit the 500-store milestone across India by the end of the financial year. A massive push in the final days of March saw 19 new stores opened in just 48 hours: March 31: 12 stores opened in a single day across locations including Pune, Chennai, Lucknow, Greater Noida, Faridabad, and Ahmedabad. March 30: 7 stores opened across Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Chhattisgarh. Operational Status: Out of the 500 stores, 499 are currently active; one store in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, is temporarily closed for reconstruction. Market & Operational UpdatesThe stock showed strong momentum in early April 2026, significantly outperforming the broader market (Sensex). This was supported by high trading volumes and institutional interest, including a notable block trade on the NSE involving approximately 44,170 shares at a price of ₹4,246.40. Operationally, the company continues to lean into its "Everyday Low Price" (EDLP) model and self-owned store strategy. While the top-line revenue and expansion numbers are confirmed, the specific details regarding net profit and operating margins for Q4 will be clarified when the full audited financial results are released.
