JSWENERGY
Significant Renewable Energy Commissioning: JSW Energy has successfully commissioned 281 MW of new renewable energy capacity. This includes 215 MW of solar and 66 MW of wind power projects in Maharashtra. This expansion brings their total installed generation capacity to 12,499 MW, with renewable sources now accounting for a significant 55% of their overall portfolio, aligning with the peak wind season for optimal output. New Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): A step-down subsidiary, JSW Renew Energy Three, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd for a 250 MW STU-connected wind project in Maharashtra. This project, with a tariff of ₹3.65/KWh, is expected to be operational within the next 24 months, further solidifying JSW Energy's long-term revenue streams from renewables. Strong Financial Performance in Q4 FY25: JSW Energy reported a positive financial performance for Q4 FY25. The company's revenue from operations increased by 21% year-on-year to ₹34.97 billion, largely driven by the growth in its renewable energy segment. Profit after tax also saw a healthy rise of 16% year-on-year to ₹4.08 billion for the quarter. For the full fiscal year 2025, revenue increased by 6% and net profit by 13%. Ambitious Expansion Plans and Targets: JSW Energy is actively pursuing its ambitious "Strategy 3.0" roadmap, aiming to achieve 30 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030. They currently have 29.9 GW of locked-in generation capacity (operational, under-construction, and pipeline projects) and 29.3 GWh of locked-in energy storage. The company also plans to invest approximately ₹14,000 crore to expand the renewable energy capacity of its recently acquired O2 Power to 4.7 GW by 2027 and aims for carbon neutrality by 2050
