Recent Order Wins and Backlog
In March 2026, KEC International secured new orders worth ₹1,476 crore for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects across India, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. This included their largest-ever composite T&D order in Saudi Arabia for 380 kV lines and substations. Prior to this, in February 2026, the company bagged orders totaling ₹1,002 crore and ₹1,020 crore for diverse segments including a multispeciality hospital in Central India and railway siding works. These wins pushed the year-to-date order intake to approximately ₹22,800 crore, with a total order book and L1 position exceeding ₹41,000 crore.
Financial Performance (Q3 FY26)
The company reported record quarterly revenues of ₹6,001 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, marking a 12% year-on-year growth. EBITDA grew by 15% to ₹430 crore, with margins improving slightly to 7.2%. Despite a one-time exceptional provision of ₹59 crore related to the New Labor Code, the company achieved an operating Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹171 crore. However, on a consolidated basis including exceptional items, the reported PAT for the quarter stood at ₹127.46 crore
Project Executions and Infrastructure
KEC recently commissioned a significant transmission line from Ahmedabad to Navsari (ANTL), along with a major substation in Ahmedabad. This infrastructure has begun evacuating approximately 2,600 MW of power, primarily from the Khavda Renewable Park.
