PVR INOX Limited Latest Updates

PVRINOX
Financial Performance (Q4 FY26) For the quarter ending March 31, 2026, the company reported a revenue of ₹1,720 crore, a slight increase year-on-year. While the box office performance for major Bollywood and Hollywood releases showed improvement, the company is still navigating a recovery path in terms of consolidated net profit due to high depreciation and finance costs associated with its large-scale merger and expansion. Screen Expansion and Optimization PVR INOX has continued its strategy of portfolio optimization. In the last six months, the company opened 35 new screens across major cities while simultaneously closing 15 underperforming screens in older malls. This is part of a broader plan to focus on premium, high-yielding locations such as IMAX, 4DX, and Director’s Cut formats to increase the average ticket price (ATP). Growth in Food & Beverage (F&B) The Food & Beverage segment remains a high-margin driver for the company. PVR INOX has expanded its culinary offerings beyond traditional cinema snacks to include gourmet menus and tie-ups with popular food brands. The Average Spending Per Head (SPH) has seen a consistent uptick, now accounting for nearly 35% of total revenue. Strategic Debt Reduction Following the merger of PVR and INOX, the management has prioritized deleveraging the balance sheet. The company has utilized internal accruals to reduce its net debt by approximately ₹200 crore in the 2025-26 fiscal year. The goal is to reach a near net-debt-free status within the next 24 months by focusing on asset-light expansion models. Advertising Revenue Recovery Cinema advertising revenue has reached approximately 90% of pre-pandemic levels. Large corporate advertisers are returning to the big screen, particularly for high-tentpole regional and national releases. The company is leveraging its massive reach of over 1,700 screens to sign long-term, multi-movie advertising contracts with brands in the FMCG and Automobile sectors.
