SUZLON
Financial Performance & Outlook:
Suzlon reported stellar Q4 FY25 results, with net profit surging by a whopping 365% to ₹1,181 crore, marking its highest profit in a decade. Revenue for the period came in at ₹3,774 crore, up 73% year-on-year. For the full FY25, Suzlon achieved record deliveries of 1.55 GW, an impressive 118% year-on-year growth. The company boasts its highest-ever domestic order book of 5.6 GW and a strong pipeline, providing a clear revenue outlook. Suzlon's management expects a 60% growth across the board in FY26, projecting 2.4-2.5 GW in deliveries.
Promoter Stake Sale & Block Deals:
The Tanti Family & Trust, promoters of Suzlon Energy, have been actively involved in secondary share sales. Recently, a large block deal saw almost 20 crore shares, worth ₹1,309 crore, changing hands. This transaction, representing about 1.43% of the total equity, was conducted at a floor price of ₹64.75 per share. While promoter stake sales can sometimes be viewed negatively, analysts suggest that in Suzlon's case, it's more a reflection of past financial distress and debt restructuring rather than a lack of confidence in the company's future prospects. Major institutional investors like Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley were among the buyers in these block deals.
Order Wins and Market Position:
Suzlon continues to secure significant orders, solidifying its position in the Indian wind energy market. Recent wins include large projects from NTPC Green Energy (378 MW in April 2025, consolidating a 1,544 MW partnership), Sunsure Energy (100.8 MW in April 2025), and repeat orders from Juniper Green Energy (402 MW in May 2024 and 72.45 MW in March 2024). Suzlon's S144 (3X MW) turbine is a key product, contributing significantly to its order book and reinforcing its leadership in indigenous drone technologies. The company is also recognized for its "Make in India" initiatives and strong ESG ratings.#StockInNews#WatchOutFor#FundamentalViews#HiddenGems#PersonalFinance
