Interarch Building Products Ltd — Stock Report

INTERARCH
Interarch Building Products Ltd is a turnkey provider of pre-engineered steel buildings (PEBs) and associated metal roofing, cladding, and ceiling systems, catering to industrial, commercial and infrastructure segments. The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities across India (in Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh) with combined annual capacity exceeding ~160,000 MT of steel structures. The company highlights over 40 years of experience and has delivered more than 3,000 buildings and numerous roofing and ceiling installations. Financially, the business has grown from a revenue of ~₹698 crore in FY19 to ~₹1,454 crore in FY25 (five-year CAGR ~14 %), and currently trades on a P/E around ~30×, with ROCE ~24.8% and ROE ~18%. The company is largely debt-free, improving its financial resilience. Its latest contract wins include a ~₹300 crore project from a large tyre manufacturer, underscoring its capacity to handle large turnkey assignments and execute end-to-end (design, manufacture, erection) solutions. Strengths of Interarch include its niche in PEBs (a segment with relatively fewer organised players), integrated manufacturing and execution capabilities (reducing dependence on subcontracting), and exposure to growth in industrial/logistics sheds, data centres, manufacturing parks, and infrastructure which demand faster building solutions compared to traditional RCC construction. The move towards quick-install steel structures offers an edge in an environment where speed, cost and flexibility matter. However, risks are real. The business remains cyclical and tied to capex by corporates, infrastructure timelines and investor sentiment. A large portion of raw materials (steel) is subject to price fluctuations—steel constitutes a major share of input cost—so margin pressure is a concern if the company cannot pass on cost increases.
