Jash Engineering Ltd – Company Fundamental Analysis

JASH
Jash Engineering is an engineering and manufacturing company specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure equipment, including gates, screens, screening systems, penstocks and other flow-control products. Its business has a strong export component through subsidiaries such as Rodney Hunt and Mahr, giving it access to municipal and infrastructure projects in developed markets. FY26 was largely flat operationally. Consolidated revenue from operations was ₹736.2 crore versus ₹735.2 crore in FY25, while EBITDA declined to ₹122.7 crore from ₹138 crore and PAT fell to ₹75.5 crore from ₹86.8 crore. The weakness was primarily associated with slower export performance and operating deleverage. Q1 FY27, however, showed a recovery in topline: revenue increased 17.5% YoY to ₹149.9 crore and the company returned to profit with PAT of ₹5.1 crore compared with a ₹5.2 crore loss in Q1 FY26. EBITDA was ₹14.2 crore, although the 9.1% margin remained well below Q4 FY26's 26%, highlighting quarterly volatility. The major growth opportunity is the company's international expansion, particularly in the US and Saudi Arabia, along with increased manufacturing capacity and a strong export order pipeline. Management has indicated FY27 consolidated sales of around ₹875 crore and a longer-term objective of reaching ₹1,500 crore-plus revenue. The key risks are export-market delays, project execution, raw-material costs, currency movements and the relatively high dependence on international orders. Overall, Jash Engineering has a differentiated engineering niche and a healthy order book, but FY26 demonstrated that growth can be uneven; sustained revenue growth accompanied by margin recovery will be important for the company to deliver stronger and more consistent earnings.
