L&T wins ₹10,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore orders

Larsen & Toubro Limited has secured multiple Power Transmission & Distribution orders valued between ₹10,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore across India and the Middle East. The projects cover transmission lines, substations and related cabling work. The orders are aimed at strengthening transmission networks and supporting renewable energy evacuation. For L&T, this is more than a single project win. The company is adding orders across different geographies while maintaining exposure to the long-term expansion of power infrastructure. My view is that the order value is positive for revenue visibility, but the bigger question is execution. Large EPC orders can support growth only when project execution, working capital and margins remain under control. I would therefore track the next quarterly numbers for order execution and margin performance. The stock was trading around ₹3,727 during the morning session on October 5 and was up about 0.9% at that point. I would watch whether the stock can sustain above the ₹3,700 zone with volume. A sustained move above the day's high would provide stronger technical confirmation. Stance: Positive on the order inflow, with execution and margins as the key factors to watch. Disclosure: I do not hold a position in Larsen & Toubro Limited as of the time of writing.
