HAL Stock Rises 2.13% Intraday; ₹5,165 Resistance in Focus

HAL extended its winning streak to three consecutive sessions following positive updates on Tejas aircraft deliveries and ongoing progress in the Tejas Mk-1A programme. Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (

HAL
) witnessed a strong intraday move on Friday, September 18, 2026, rising as much as 2.13% before paring gains to close with a marginal 0.26% gain at around ₹4,800. The move marked HAL’s third consecutive winning session, although the stock remained more than 2% lower for the week after the sharp decline at the beginning of the week. The move followed HAL's handover of the final two LCA Tejas FOC twin-seat trainers and HTT-40 Basic Trainer Aircraft to the Indian Air Force. HAL CMD Ravi K also stated that Tejas Mk-1A deliveries are expected to begin by the end of 2026. HAL Technical Analysis From a technical perspective, ₹5,165 was a significant resistance level in May 2025. More recently, HAL touched a high of ₹5,150 on August 17, 2026, before correcting. This makes the ₹5,150–₹5,165 zone an important resistance area for the stock. On the downside, the ₹4,615–₹4,535 zone could act as a near-term support area. HAL Stock Outlook With Friday’s close near ₹4,800, the focus now remains on whether HAL can sustain its recovery and eventually reclaim the ₹5,150–₹5,165 resistance zone. The stock has shown signs of stabilisation after recent weakness, but a decisive breakout above resistance may be required to strengthen bullish momentum. Meanwhile, the support zone remains critical for maintaining the current recovery structure. Disclosure: Neither I nor my family members hold any position in the mentioned scrip.
