TCS Shares Drop Over 3%, Hit Fresh Multi-Month Low Post Q1 Results

Despite reporting a 6% year-on-year rise in net profit to ₹12,760 crore, which beat analyst expectations, investor sentiment remained muted. The stock is now down nearly 28% from its 52-week high of ₹4,592. TCS, a global IT services and consulting leader, derives significant revenue from North America and Europe, with growing contributions from emerging markets including India, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. As of the latest trade, the company’s market capitalization stood at ₹12.24 lakh crore.
