FIIs, meanwhile, recorded net buying in index futures, index options and stock futures, while remaining sellers in stock options. Market Performance The Nifty50 closed at 24,252, gaining 20.15 points, or 0.1 per cent. The Sensex edged up 3.11 points to 77,540.83. The India VIX rose 4.1 per cent to 11.20, indicating a modest increase in market volatility despite the largely flat movement in the benchmark indices.
