Meesho Shares Jump 12% as NMV and EBITDA Estimates Raised

MEESHO
shares surged nearly 12% to an intraday high of ₹244.50 on September 22 after higher estimates for the company’s Net Merchandise Value (NMV) and EBITDA for FY29–FY31. NMV projections were raised by 7–18%, while EBITDA estimates increased by 20–40%. The revised outlook reflects expectations of sustained growth in the platform’s seller and buyer ecosystem, expansion in SKUs and logistics coverage, and improving operating efficiency. Meesho’s growth momentum remained strong in Q1 FY27, with net transacting sellers rising 81% YoY to 1.04 million, while the buyer base increased 29% YoY to 274 million to 274 million. The higher EBITDA expectations also point to potential benefits from better advertising monetisation, improving logistics economics and stronger operating leverage. Continued expansion of the marketplace could further support transaction volumes and profitability over the medium term. The stock’s sharp move highlights increased market attention toward Meesho’s growth trajectory, monetisation potential and improving profitability outlook.
