AUGMONT ENTERPRISES SHARES FALL AFTER Q1

AUGMONT
*AUGMONT ENTERPRISES SHARES FALL AFTER Q1:-* Newly listed Augmont Enterprises shares fell more than 3 percent after the integrated precious metals management company reported a 15.3 percent year-on-year decline in net profit for the June quarter, despite a 30 percent increase in revenue. The stock touched an intraday low of Rs 825.20 per share on the NSE, marking a decline of nearly 7 percent. It later recovered some losses amid buying at lower levels and was trading at Rs 864.70 per share, down 2.54 percent. Augmont attributed the decline in profitability largely to international sales, which had been unusually concentrated in the first quarter of the previous financial year. The company also said geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East affected export volumes during the quarter. However, Augmont noted that international sales had recovered sequentially from the fourth quarter of FY26, pointing to a gradual normalisation of its export business despite ongoing uncertainties. Augmont Enterprises made a strong debut on the stock exchanges in August, with its shares listing nearly 22 percent above the IPO price. The Rs 825-crore public issue, which carried a price band of Rs 750-788 per share, was subscribed 105.78 times between August 21 and 25. The stock listed at Rs 961 per share on the NSE, representing a 21.95 percent premium over the issue price. Augmont Enterprises operates an integrated gold and silver platform catering to businesses and consumers across 24 states. Its operations cover multiple segments of the precious metals value chain, including procurement and refining, bullion trading, digital gold, jewellery manufacturing, financial services and technology-enabled platforms.
