GODREJ INDUSTRIES LAUNCHES RS 2,000-CRORE PRIVATE CREDIT AIF

GODREJIND
Industries Group has entered India’s private credit market with a Category-II Alternative Investment Fund targeting a corpus of Rs 2,000 crore. The fund, launched through its asset management arm, will follow a sector-agnostic performing credit strategy focused on established mid-market companies with strong operations and cash generation. The fund will have a base corpus of Rs 1,000 crore, with a greenshoe option of another Rs 1,000 crore. It will provide flexible financing backed by collateral and covenant protections, allowing businesses to raise capital without equity dilution. The fund will target HNIs, UHNIs, family offices and institutional investors through private placement.
