TVS Motor Company Ltd. reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with standalone net profit surging 51% year-on-year to Rs 1,174 crore, compared with Rs 776 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The company's standalone revenue from operations increased 38% to Rs 13,896 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 10,081 crore in Q1 FY26, driven by robust demand and higher sales volumes. During the quarter, commodity prices rose sharply amid global market uncertainties, leading to higher input costs. TVS Motor said it partially offset the impact through selective price hikes, cost optimisation measures, and benefits from higher production scale. The company also achieved its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 1,779 crore, up 41% from Rs 1,260 crore a year earlier. EBITDA margin improved by 30 basis points to 12.8%, compared with 12.5% in the June 2025 quarter. TVS Motor continued to strengthen its position in the electric mobility segment, with electric two-wheeler sales rising 86% year-on-year to 129,940 units in Q1 FY27 from 70,060 units in the same period last year. The company also crossed the milestone of more than one million EV customers. Meanwhile, three-wheeler sales grew 48% to 66,697 units during the quarter, compared with 44,978 units in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
