Nifty Pre-Open: 23,900-23,950 Is the Pivot Again

Nifty continued its pattern of opening exactly at flagged levels — yesterday it opened near 24,000, the extreme upside objective and resistance, before correcting into the 23,900–23,850 support cluster, which has since shifted higher to 23,900–23,950. RSI at 44.78 stays on the softer side, reflecting the underlying consolidation. Resistance: 23,970, then 24,078. Support: 23,900–23,950 immediate cluster, then 23,820 and 23,770. A sustained 1-hour close below 23,900 would give the bears the edge toward 23,820–23,770. On the flip side, sustenance above 24,000 would confirm a trendline breakout, opening 24,080. Until either level breaks decisively, expect the index to hold within this tightening range.

BEL
is just flirting above its falling wedge. While a falling wedge is generally a bullish pattern, the sideways consolidation is creating doubts over whether this is accumulation or distribution — better to wait for a clear trigger before taking a directional view. Not every textbook pattern demands an immediate call — when signals are mixed, waiting for a decisive trigger is itself a disciplined technical decision.
