Alkem Laboratories declined more than 2% in Thursday afternoon trade after the pharmaceutical company announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, Nitin Agrawal.
The stock dropped as much as 2.04%, or ₹110.50, to ₹5,307 on the NSE around 12:44 pm. By 12:53 pm, it was trading at ₹5,318, down 1.84%.
In an exchange filing on September 24, Alkem stated that Agrawal had resigned on July 30, 2026, to pursue new professional opportunities. He will remain in his role until September 30, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition.
In his resignation letter, Agrawal described his tenure as “a great honour” and expressed gratitude for the experience.
