Godrej Consumer Products Ltd rose almost 2% in early trade on Tuesday after the company guided for strong second-quarter performance in FY27.
The stock was trading at Rs 852.45, up 1.85%, on the NSE around 10:17 am. Management projected high-teens revenue growth and double-digit EBITDA growth for the quarter. Consolidated underlying volume growth is expected in the high single digits. Standalone revenue growth is likely in the teens, even after factoring in a 100-150 basis point drag from trade inventory correction.
Indonesia is seen delivering high-teens revenue growth with high-single-digit volumes, while the GAUM business is expected to post robust double-digit gains in both revenue and volumes.
The company noted intensifying input cost pressures, especially from crude-linked derivatives and palm oils. It plans to counter these through calibrated pricing, cost savings and supply-chain efficiencies.
“We remain firmly on track to deliver our guidance for the full year with the confidence to exceed the same in select areas,” the company said.#WatchOutFor#StockInNews
