Nestle India Shares Slip further on Q2 Results

NESTLEIND
Nestle India shares fell another 1.05 percent to Rs 1,262.40 in early trade on Friday. This came after the stock had already dropped nearly 8 percent on Thursday following the company’s second-quarter results. Even with the sharp two-day fall, the stock is down just 1.5 percent so far in 2026. That is much better than the Nifty 50, which has declined around 12 percent over the same period. The company’s market value now stands at Rs 2.46 lakh crore. The company itself reported a 36 percent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,009.6 crore. Revenue rose 20.3 percent to Rs 6,788.3 crore. Management pointed to rising food inflation and higher commodity costs as ongoing challenges, though it expects some relief from better operational efficiencies.
