are expected to remain in the spotlight on September 24 after the company secured key regulatory approval to expand its recycling operations. The packaging firm has received an amended Consolidated Consent and Authorisation (CCA) from the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB). The fresh nod allows Pyramid Technoplast to receive, collect, store, transport and recycle third-party industrial packaging waste. This includes empty barrels, containers and liners contaminated with hazardous chemicals or wastes. Under the amended authorisation, the company can handle and recycle up to 960 metric tonnes of such waste every year. It is also permitted to manufacture up to 9,000 cleaned barrels, drums and containers per month for industrial use or conversion into granules. This adds to its existing capacity of 1,000 metric tonnes per month for plastic re-processed granules.
