Texmaco Rail Shares Surge 3% on ₹86.85 Crore Order from UltraTech Cement

TEXRAIL
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. saw its share price climb 3.15% in early trading on Friday, reaching ₹152.05 on the BSE, following the announcement of a new order worth ₹86.85 crore from UltraTech Cement. The contract involves the supply of BCFC Wagons along with a Brake Van, with delivery scheduled by March 2026. The order win adds to Texmaco’s robust order book, signaling strong momentum in its wagon and engineering segment. This development comes on the heels of another significant contract secured last week from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) for ₹129.09 crore. That project entails the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 2x25 KV traction overhead equipment and related works at the Yavatmal-Digras section of the Nagpur division in Central Railways. Despite recent financial challenges, including a 49.8% drop in net profit to ₹30 crore and a 16.3% decline in revenue to ₹910.6 crore for the June quarter, Texmaco’s recent order wins highlight its strong positioning in India’s rail infrastructure sector. The company’s ability to secure high-value contracts underscores its role as a key player in the growing demand for rail wagons and engineering solutions.
