KPI Green Energy Secures ₹2,025 Crore Solar EPC Order

has received a major work order worth approximately ₹2,025 crore from NACOF Oorja Private Limited (NOPL), a subsidiary of NACOF, for the turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a 500 MW AC / 550 MWp solar photovoltaic power project in Rajasthan. The order value is inclusive of all taxes and GST. The project forms part of the 5,000 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Park being developed by NOPL at Village Dantoor, Tehsil Khajuwala, District Bikaner. Under the contract, KPI Green Energy will undertake complete design, engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar plant. The scope includes PV modules, module mounting structures, inverters, inverter transformers, HT switchgear, civil and electrical works, a 33 kV transmission line, evacuation bay and SCADA monitoring systems. The project is scheduled for completion within 12 months from the handing over of the project site. This order follows the earlier award of a 500 MW / 550 MWp solar Balance of System (BOS) package by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited at Bikaner. According to the company, the latest turnkey EPC mandate strengthens its presence in Rajasthan, adds to its EPC order book and provides revenue visibility over the coming year. The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction. The company has also confirmed that its promoters and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity. Investors may track project execution, commissioning timelines and the conversion of the order book into revenue over the next 12 months.
