has announced that its material subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Limited (SDEL), has completed the acquisition of 1,07,47,760 equity shares of DEK and Mavericks Green Energy Limited (DMGEL), representing a 62.91% stake in the company. The acquisition was completed on September 26, 2026.
Following the transaction, DMGEL has become a subsidiary of SDEL and, consequently, a step-down subsidiary of KPI Green Energy. The change in corporate structure has been effected in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
The transaction follows KPI Green Energy’s earlier disclosure dated August 21, 2026, in which the company had informed the stock exchanges about SDEL’s proposed acquisition of up to 100% of the equity share capital of DMGEL. The latest announcement confirms that 62.91% of the paid-up equity share capital has now been acquired.
The acquisition expands KPI Green Energy’s corporate structure through the addition of DMGEL as a step-down subsidiary. However, the latest disclosure does not provide details regarding the acquisition consideration, DMGEL’s financial contribution, operational capacity or the expected impact of the transaction on KPI Green Energy’s consolidated financial performance.
The development is therefore an update on KPI Green Energy’s ongoing acquisition plan, with SDEL now holding a controlling 62.91% stake in DMGEL and DMGEL becoming part of the KPI Green Energy group as a step-down subsidiary.
