Power Mech Projects Secures ₹279 Crore Order

has secured a ₹279.20 crore order from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Limited (TGGENCO) for comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS), Telangana. The order covers mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation (C&I) operations, along with upkeep of the ash handling plant and coal handling plant across the 5×800 MW power station. The scope includes ash handling facilities of Stage-I (Units 1 and 2) and Stage-II (Units 3, 4 and 5), along with the complete coal handling plant. The contract will be executed over three years from the date of issuance of the Letter of Intent (LOI) or order confirmation. The total order value stands at ₹279.20 crore, including all provisions but excluding GST. A Price Variation Clause (PVC) will be applicable for the second and third years, allowing adjustments as specified under the contract. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not involve any related-party transaction. The company has also confirmed that its promoters, promoter group and group companies have no interest in the awarding entity. For Power Mech Projects, the order strengthens its presence in the thermal power plant operations and maintenance segment, adding a long-term service contract to its order book.
