Aartech Solonics Limited (AARTECH) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Faradigm Ultracapacitors Pvt. Ltd., has signed an MoU with Shenzhen Titan Smart Energy Technology Co. Ltd. The agreement aims to explore energy storage cooperation in India, focusing on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP)-based Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
The collaboration targets BESS capacities ranging from 100 kWh to 5 MWh for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) applications and integrated hybrid solar-diesel-battery solutions. The partners will also explore manufacturing and technology licensing opportunities. Faradigm’s upcoming manufacturing facility at Mohasa-Babai, Madhya Pradesh, is planned to commence operations in FY 2027–28 to support localised capabilities.
The key triggers are the MoU for LFP-based BESS in the growing C&I segment and the planned manufacturing facility targeting FY 2027–28. This supports the company’s strategic move into energy storage amid rising demand for hybrid solutions in India. Peers in the electrical equipment, transformers, and renewable energy equipment space such as Transformers & Rectifiers, GE Vernova T&D India, and Quality Power may face comparison on energy storage expansion. Near-term prices could react positively on the strategic partnership narrative, though the MoU remains exploratory. Risks include delays in finalising definitive agreements, technology transfer challenges, or slower-than-expected ramp-up of the manufacturing facility.
