$HINDUNILVR r Ltd reported a 4% year-on-year decline in standalone net profit to ₹2,631 crore for Q1 FY27, as higher input costs and elevated expenses weighed on margins. The company's EBITDA margin narrowed 40 basis points to 22.8% amid continued commodity inflation. Revenue from continuing operations rose 10% YoY to ₹16,514 crore, supported by 5% underlying volume growth. Excluding one-time restructuring and acquisition-related expenses, adjusted profit increased 9% to ₹3,623 crore. On a consolidated basis, net profit declined 3% to ₹2,673 crore, while revenue grew 10.3% to ₹17,149 crore, marking the company's highest quarterly turnover in the last 13 quarters.
