Kotak Bank Shares Gain 4% as Q2 Rise 25%, Deposits Jump 23%

shares gained around 4%, touching ₹431 on the NSE, after the private sector lender reported strong provisional business numbers for Q2 FY27. The bank’s net advances increased nearly 25% YoY to ₹5.77 lakh crore, reflecting robust credit growth during the July–September quarter. Total deposits also maintained strong momentum, rising more than 23% YoY to ₹6.51 lakh crore. Meanwhile, CASA deposits grew around 11% YoY to ₹2.49 lakh crore, indicating continued traction in the bank’s low-cost deposit base. The strong quarterly business update boosted investor sentiment and supported buying interest in the stock.
