BPCL Secures Environmental Clearance for ₹1.03 Lakh Cr Andhra Refinery

has received environmental clearance to move forward with its ₹1.03 lakh crore Greenfield Refinery and Petrochemical Complex in Andhra Pradesh. Located in Chevuru Village, Nellore district, the 9 MMTPA facility will span over 2,100 hectares, create nearly 7,000 jobs across construction and operations, and require 600 MW of power. The project now advances to a detailed EIA and public hearing stage before execution.
