Hindalco Eyes Sustained Growth Backed by Metal Prices & Efficiency

’s MD Satish Pai is optimistic about sustaining strong performance through FY26, contingent on LME aluminium prices holding between $2,400–2,600/tonne. The company posted a 30% YoY profit jump to ₹4,004 Cr, with revenue up 13% to ₹64,232 Cr and Ebitda up 9% to ₹8,673 Cr. Aluminium upstream margins touched 44%, with $1,500 Ebitda/tonne — the best in 15 quarters. Copper business added ₹673 Cr despite tough markets. Two new projects — Aditya FRP (70,000 tonnes rolled products) and Copper IGT (15,000 tonnes tubes) — are set for commissioning this quarter. Hindalco closed 5.09% higher at ₹701.6 on strong investor confidence.
