LTM reported consolidated revenue of ₹11,808 crore1!
LTM reported consolidated revenue of ₹11,808 crore for Q2 FY27, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 11.5% year-on-year, reflecting continued growth in its IT services business. However, net profit declined approximately 4.6% sequentially to ₹1,398 crore. Deal wins also slowed, with total reported deal bookings falling to $1.26 billion, compared with $1.68 billion in the previous quarter. The mixed results weighed on investor sentiment, and the stock fell more than 5% during trading on 19 October, according to market reporting. 2. Why does this matter? IT services companies need to maintain revenue growth while converting client discussions and project opportunities into signed contracts. Revenue growth: The 13.6% annual increase shows that the company continues to expand its reported business. Operating performance: EBIT growth of 11.5% indicates continued operating earnings growth, although it was slower than revenue growth. Deal bookings: Lower deal wins may affect future revenue visibility if the trend persists. Profit pressure: The sequential decline in net profit highlights the importance of expenses, margins and other income in determining the bottom line. A decline in quarterly deal bookings does not automatically mean revenue will fall in the next quarter. Large projects can have different signing and execution timelines. 3. What should investors watch next? New deal wins and the size of the deal pipeline. Constant-currency revenue growth. EBIT margin and employee utilisation. Demand from banking, manufacturing and other key client sectors. Management commentary on AI services and discretionary technology spending. 4. My view LTM's revenue growth remains positive, but slower deal bookings and the sequential profit decline deserve attention. Investors should focus on whether the company can turn its pipeline into new contracts while maintaining margins.
