Bharti Airtel: Price Sits at the Bottom of a Falling Channel
at ₹1,817.20 on the daily chart, down 0.71%. Since the November 2025 high near ₹2,175, the stock has moved within a clearly defined descending channel. The most recent candles are testing the lower boundary of that channel, making the current zone technically important.
The Ichimoku indicators remain bearish. Price is below the Tenkan-sen at ₹1,853.20 and the Kijun-sen at ₹1,902.60, which shows that both short-term and medium-term momentum are still weak.
The cloud sits overhead between roughly ₹1,877.90 and ₹1,921.50, so there is a broad resistance area above price rather than support beneath it. The anchored VWAP at ₹1,834.30 also lies above the close, reinforcing the near-term supply zone.
The immediate support is ₹1,800, followed by the lower channel area around ₹1,780. A sustained break below ₹1,780 could extend the decline towards ₹1,750. On the upside, ₹1,834 is the first recovery level. A move above ₹1,853 would reclaim the Tenkan-sen, but the more meaningful technical improvement would require price to move above ₹1,878 and then ₹1,903, taking it back through the cloud and Kijun-sen.
Airtel’s operating business continues to be supported by its telecom scale, mobile-data growth and tariff sensitivity. But the chart is presently in a corrective structure: buyers need to defend ₹1,800 and then break the falling-channel pattern before the stock can shift back into a stronger trend.
