₹224 crore order strengthens Enviro Infra outlook

Engineers is in focus after its step-down subsidiary Suyog Urja received a ₹224.19 crore Letter of Intent from Tata Power Renewable Energy for EPC turnkey works for NTPC’s 180 MW wind power project at Parli, Maharashtra. The project is scheduled for completion by March 31, 2027, providing additional revenue visibility for the company. The contract covers wind turbine generator foundations for 58 turbines, balance-of-plant works, a 39-acre storage yard, access roads and crane pads, along with construction and commissioning of a 33 kV transmission line. The order follows another ₹189.99 crore EPC contract secured by the subsidiary on September 8 for the same 180 MW project, taking the recently announced order value to over ₹414 crore. The fresh wins strengthen Enviro Infra’s positioning in the renewable-energy EPC segment and provide an opportunity to build execution capabilities in wind infrastructure. Rising investments in renewable capacity could support a healthy pipeline for companies providing civil, BoP and transmission solutions. However, investors should monitor execution timelines, working-capital requirements, project margins and order conversion, as EPC businesses can face cost overruns and cash-flow pressures. The latest order is also an LoI, making timely conversion into a firm contract important. Overall, the ₹224 crore order and recent ₹190 crore win improve near-term order visibility and strengthen Enviro Infra’s renewable-energy opportunity. Execution and margin delivery will remain the key triggers for sustainable earnings growth.
