Ashoka Buildcon Adds Long-Term Power Infrastructure Visibility With ₹126.5 Crore Annual Transmission Project

$ASHOKA is in focus after receiving an LOI from REC Power Development and Consultancy for developing a 400/220/132 kV AIS substation at Sakoli, Maharashtra, under the tariff-based competitive bidding route. The project will be completed in 24 months, followed by a 35-year O&M period, with annual transmission charges of around ₹126.53 crore. The award strengthens Ashoka Buildcon's presence in power transmission beyond its traditional road construction business and provides long-term revenue visibility, although the near-term earnings impact will depend on execution.
