Agreements for ₹1 lakh crore refinery and ₹3,500 crore pipeline projects are signed by Oil India, BPCL, and NRL.

In front of Shri Pankaj Jain, Secretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), at the 28th Energy Technology Meet 2025 in Hyderabad, state-owned Oil India Ltd (OIL) announced on Tuesday, October 28, that it had signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Numaligarh Refinery Ltd (NRL). These collaborations confirm OIL's dedication to a sustainable and independent energy future for India and represent important turning points in the company's integrated growth strategy spanning petrochemicals, refining, and logistics infrastructure. In order to build BPCL's future greenfield refinery and petrochemical complex next to Ramayapatnam Port in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, OIL and BPCL have established a cooperative framework.
