Before the largest initial public offering (IPO) of 2025, Tata Capital issues shares worth ₹4,642 crore to 68 anchor investors.

In anticipation of the biggest IPO in 2025, IPO-bound Tata Capital has distributed shares valued at ₹4,642 crore to 68 qualified local and international anchor investors. The board authorized the issuance of 14.23 crore equity shares to these qualified institutions, with 18 domestic mutual funds receiving 35.5% of the total, having applied through 59 different schemes. At the upper end of the price range of ₹310 to ₹326 per share, shares were issued. The majority of the entire anchor book—more than 15%—has been given to Life Insurance Corporation of India, the biggest insurance provider in India. As part of the anchor book of Tata Capital, LIC has contributed ₹700 crore.
