Following the Morphy Richards brand acquisition plan, Bajaj Electricals' shares increase by more than 13%.

Following the company's announcement that it will pay ₹146 crore to Ireland-based Glen Electric, a division of the Glen Dimplex Group, for the Morphy Richards brand and associated intellectual property rights, shares of Bajaj Electricals Ltd. (BEL) rose more than 13% on Wednesday, September 24. Shares of Bajaj Electricals saw significant buying interest after the announcement. The stock jumped 13.11% to reach an intraday high of ₹652.75 after opening higher on the BSE at ₹603.05 compared to the previous close of ₹576.95. Regarding more general patterns, Bajaj Electricals is currently trading considerably above its 52-week low of ₹487.60 but still below its 52-week high of ₹995, underscoring the recent upturn in investor mood. Following the most recent spike, Bajaj Electricals' total market value was ₹7,400.99 crore.
