Aeroflex Industries plans ₹202 crore capacity expansion
Aeroflex Industries Limited plans to invest ₹202 crore by March 2028 to expand its manufacturing capacity, targeting an additional ₹500-550 crore in annual revenue at peak utilisation.
The expansion covers stainless steel hoses, hose assemblies and liquid cooling systems, with growing AI data centre demand providing a key growth opportunity.
The company plans to increase annual SS hose and braiding capacity from 20 million metres to 30 million metres. Liquid cooling skid assembly capacity will rise to 30,000 pieces annually. The investment will fund upgrades at its existing Taloja facility and a new hose assembly unit, using equity, bridge loans and internal accruals.
My view: The revenue target is meaningful relative to the ₹202 crore investment, but the key factor is how quickly the new capacity translates into actual sales. Demand for liquid cooling systems could benefit from rising AI computing requirements, while the expanded hose business serves a wider industrial market. However, the ₹500-550 crore revenue estimate depends on peak capacity utilisation, so it should not be treated as immediate revenue growth. Execution, customer orders and operating margins will determine the actual benefit.
Aeroflex has already raised SS hose and braiding capacity to 20 million metres annually. Liquid cooling skid assembly capacity has reached 12,000 pieces, with a further 3,000 pieces expected by December 2026.
The stock was trading at ₹516.80, down 9.13% or ₹51.90 on the NSE. This sharp decline makes price stability and the next trading sessions important to watch. I would track progress on capacity additions, fresh order wins and utilisation before taking a bullish view. The expansion supports the long-term growth case, but execution and valuation remain key risks.
