Anupam Rasayan Signs Potential ₹2,885 Crore Pact to Expand in Next-Generation Battery Chemicals
Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. has taken another strategic step in the advanced chemicals space by signing a non-binding Letter of Intent (LoI) with Spain-based BASQUEVOLT S.A. to explore the long-term supply of a speciality chemical used in solid-state battery applications.
The proposed engagement has the potential to generate cumulative revenue of approximately ₹2,885 crore (around $300 million) over a period of up to 10 years, although commercial supplies will depend on the successful completion of product development and the execution of a final supply agreement.
BASQUEVOLT develops solid-state lithium batteries for electric vehicles, heavy transport, renewable energy storage and aviation, making this collaboration a significant opportunity for Anupam Rasayan to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing electronic chemicals segment.
The company believes this aligns with its long-term strategy of expanding into technology-driven industries through continuous investments in research and development, process capabilities and innovation.
Currently, Anupam Rasayan serves more than 75 domestic and international customers, including 31 multinational companies, and operates six manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, highlighting its strong manufacturing base and growing global presence in speciality chemicals.
